Q. Who is eligible to vote by mail (absentee) ballot?
A. All registered voters.

Q. How and where do I request a mail (absentee) ballot?
A. You or a designated immediate family member or legal guardian may request a mail (absentee) ballot in person or by telephone, email, fax or in writing, or visiting the Supervisor of Elections website. The mail (absentee) ballot request must include the voter's name, address, and birth date. The designee must provide the required information plus his or her (designee) name, address, driver's license number (if available) and relationship to the voter.

Q. When are mail (absentee) ballots available?
A. Mail (absentee) ballots may be requested for any or all regularly scheduled elections through the end of the calendar year for the next two regularly scheduled general elections. Mailing begins 45 days prior to each election.

Q. Is there a deadline to request a mail (absentee) ballot?
A. A request for a mail (absentee) ballot to be mailed to a voter must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. (eastern time) on the sixth (6th) day before the election.

Q. How do I return my mail (absentee) ballot?
A. Mail (absentee) ballots must be returned in the envelope provided. The envelope must include the voter's signature. Voted mail (absentee) ballots must be received by 7:00 p.m. (eastern time) on Election Day at the Supervisor of Elections Office, 500 North Orange Avenue, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043, Phone: (904) 269-6350. A VOTED BALLOT CANNOT BE ACCEPTED AT A POLLING PLACE. If you request and receive an mail (absentee) ballot and later decide to vote at the polls, take your mail (absentee) ballot with you to be cancelled at your polling place.
